This is an antique colonial style house which has been located in the small village in the suburbs of the town Ahangama. This property sits in approximately 1 acre of mature tropical garden with many varieties of trees, plants, flowers, and shrubs. As such there is an abundance of wild life, including monkeys, mongoose, butterflies, parrots, and many other species of exotic birds in the garden daily. In the evenings, sat on the veranda at this colonial house you can hear the sound of the sea and watch fire flies in the trees in a subtly lit tropical garden.Just only 10 minutes’ walk to the beach and 15 minutes’ walk to the town.
Ahangama is the place famous for the ‘stilt fishermen’ and it attracts surfers, but is still quiet and peaceful. There are a couple of small beach front restaurants. It is an excellent beach for surfers of all abilities and surf lessons.
There are currently 2 double/triple bedrooms both with en suites and with private entrances. There is a further double and a single bedroom and an additional large main bathroom with hot water. All the rooms at here including a communal sitting room, a dining room and the front porch have ceiling fans.
